First day of my ICU/Mental Health nursing semester tomorrow! This is going to be incredibly draining. But goodness! I’m excited :) I’ve been reading a devotional on trusting the Lord, so this semester will absolutely test that.

This God—his way is perfect; the word of the LORD proves true; he is a shield for all those who take refuge in him. Psalm 18:30

  • Anxiety = symptom our hearts are bent in the wrong direction
  • God allows us to experience fear to help us recognize our false foundations
  • Our lives aren’t all about NOW, our lives are preparation for an eternity of joy and pain-free living.
Keeping this in mind.
