Planning to wait until we drove up to the building and then break the news to me. PSH. Good thing I asked you before we met up or else I would have been a mess by the time we got there. You would have gotten a beating from me, foreal. How dare you!  Ugh! I probably would have taken you back home if I found out right then and there. I was ready to talk you out of it while we were on the phone..

But then you apologized and explained everything to me. Your tone completely deviated from your usual and, not gonna lie, that pretty much kept me quiet the whole time you were talking (LOL). You told me the honor you’d bring to your parents, how it will allow you to go back to school without worrying too much about money, that you’ll be able to receive benefits.. and the best part, is that it was something that you were genuinely excited for. AND you have been thinking about this decision for the longest time. I could definitely tell that this is something you really want to do. It has been a very long time since I have seen this kind of passion in your heart. It is such a big deal.. and I can hear the nervousness in your voice when you told me everything. Regardless, you straight up told me that this is definitely what you want to do with your life. 

MAN. Praise the Lord. I am filled with JOY that you decided on something that you feel you have a passion for… and that you’re actually going to go for it!

God’s sovereign plan is truly amazing and I am crazy excited to see what is going to happen next. You’re not off the hook. I’m still pretty upset with your original plan. (Just kidding, I forgive you.) I’ve been praying for you for a long time & I’ll continue to pray for you as you go through the steps to make this a reality. I am totally supporting you. I’m so proud of you. Praise the Lord that I am able to witness what is happening in your life.
